MA in Social Work International Internship

The Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Gallaudet University prepares students for advanced social work practice with deaf and hard of hearing populations. During the spring semester of their final MSW year (first week of January- early May), students are placed in school and community settings that directly work with DHH individuals, families, groups and communities. Students work at their internship sites for four eight-hour days, totaling thirty-two hours per week or 500 hours for the semester in addition to an online field seminar.

Social Work students should contact the Director of Field Education for the Department of Social Work, Margaux Delotte-Bennett, before beginning an application here.  Only students who have secured placements with the support of the Director of Field Education will be allowed to begin applications.
